Ok, so with a georgeous little 5 month old keeping me busy the month of challenges became a little too much just before half way through. Will see how next year goes. If anything, its got me out of the super simple project life layouts and has me being a little more creative. I’m loving that.
One of my layouts was also featured in the Press Gallery over at Paislee Press. In doing the month of challenges, I realised that most of my digital scrapbooking products are from Paislee Press, just love her stuff.
This week has been a fantastic week which came to an end with a photo tour that started in the hinterlands near the Gold Coast and finished on the beach at Burleigh Heads (Thanks Rach for organising our tour!). I made a discovery or more to the point confirmed that I love being out in the bush and ejoying nature but really don’t love landscape photography. I have tried and tried but unless the photos form a part of a bigger story or have a significant point of interest looking pretty in the scene, its just not my thing. Other than the photo above, all of the photos from the hinterlands I can’t even bring myself to edit. The beach photos give me more hope…will put some up later on.
Its been a little bit of an average week around here, both out with the flu and confined to Resting! I don’t think I have ever been so sicK but I did get to sipend some time finding lots of inspiration for the week ahead (on Becky’s Blog).
