Ok, so with a georgeous little 5 month old keeping me busy the month of challenges became a little too much just before half way through. Will see how next year goes. If anything, its got me out of the super simple project life layouts and has me being a little more creative. I’m loving that.
One of my layouts was also featured in the Press Gallery over at Paislee Press. In doing the month of challenges, I realised that most of my digital scrapbooking products are from Paislee Press, just love her stuff.

Day Five of the Lily Pad’s Month of Challenges was to take inspiration from a book cover. I am going to use the layout as the cover to my 2012 Project Life Album (I am determined to finish it off this month…yes I’m very behind). Also a little in love with black and white photos and yellow.
Products from: Spots are from Just Jaimee mixed media mix and match. stitching from Paislee Press Weekender. The square behind the text is the white canvas in Paislee Press Gallery Album No 2. The 2012 text is covered in the chalkboard paper in the Paislee Press Gallery Album.
Day four (yes I have skipped day three, will come back to that tonight) of the Lily Pad’s Month of Challenges is a double page spread. I have decided to keep it simple and this photos was in need of being put somewhere, so a double page spread worked well.
All products are from Paislee Press: Up and away, Gallery Album 2 and For the record.
Day two of the Lily Pad’s Month of Challenges took a little more thought as it is art journaling. Here it is; I took a double triangle frame and repeated it all over a white background. Almost all of the photos are different (J loves the camera). The yellow spotty blob behind the text is cut out from patterned paper and made transparent. I’m quite happy with how it turned out.
